Giacomo's is one of our favorite restaurants. The bruschetta is always fresh and authentic. The shrimp and chicken dishes are marvelous. Seating outdoors gives a fantistic view of the Catalinas and indoors is cozy and confortable. We will be back.

Giacomo's is one of our favorite restaurants. Great food, fine bread, delicious desserts, and attentive service. The view of the Catalinas from their front patio is wonderful!

We ate there in March and the food was unedible. We were very dissapointed and will not be back. There are way too many good Italian restaurants in the area.

My husband and I eat here often (in fact, he proposed there), and we've never had a single item we didn't like. The staff is always wonderful.
5 stars!

This Italian restaurant is located where Pasta Palmita used to be in the Basha's shopping center at Kolb and Sunrise

We sat outside since it was a pleasant rainy evening and the AC inside was just too much. The restaurant wasn't very busy. We learned they had not done any advertising yet since they just got their liquor license and Giaco (pronounced "Jocko") didn't want to advertise until the license was secured

Most of the pasta dishes seemed to involve shellfish. My wife ordered the Spaghetti Mari E Monti (shrimp and scallops) and thought it was fantastic I opted for the Saltimbocca Alla Romana (veal). It too was very tasty. The vegetables that came with the dish were uninteresting and tasteless. A pasta with marinara side would have been better, but there isn't such an option. The service was prompt and friendly. Giaco came out of the kitchen several times to see how things were with diners. The desserts are all imported from Italy and are mostly frozen (ice cream) desserts.

The veal was $18 and the spaghetti $14. Total with dessert, iced teas, one coffee, and dessert was $43 plus tip.

Since it's a new restaurant, there may be some menu changes in the future as they find what their patrons prefer.

Giacomo's is vegetarian friendly. Yummy vegetables are served on the pasta of your choice, topped with the sauce you choose. The bread is homemade. My husband and I always get wine and we've never had a bad bottle. We love Giacomo's.

I and two others dined here tonight and it was the best Italian meal we have had in years. The two other guys are from New York and New Jersey and know Italian. The food was homemade and incredible. Great sauces, especially on the mussels appetizer.
